Besides making cool ads at Deutsch, there’s always something else going on to keep the creative muscles flexed.
Deutsch believes in staying sharp as the industry evolves. To put that into action, they launched a friendly in-house AI Film Festival that challenged creatives to experiment in new ways.

Over 50 Deutschers dove into AI film craft, and in just a few weeks they created more than 44 films. Using tools like Veo 3, ChatGPT, Firefly, and Whisk, they brought bold ideas to life across Drama, Comedy, and Animation.
My film didn’t win anything, but the experience was extremely rewarding. With just a week to pull it off, the pressure was real. I got to dive deeper into AI, explore tools like VEO3 and Whisk, and most importantly, put my love for screenwriting and film to work.
Here’s what I submitted.
Title: Curtain Call
Genre: Drama
Sypnosis:
Two brothers, Tragedy and Comedy, have always shared the same stage, two halves of one soul balancing light and shadow. But over time, Tragedy let life consume him. The weight of expectations and the seriousness of it all pulled him away from the joy they once shared. Comedy, on the other hand, kept finding peace in the little things, the laughter, the mistakes, the beauty in imperfection.
One day, Tragedy becomes trapped inside an hourglass, caught in the endless fall of time. Comedy watches helplessly as his brother struggles, trying to make him understand that time cannot be fought or fixed, it can only be lived through.
Curtain Call is a poetic reflection on brotherhood, joy, and surrender, a story about learning that life is not meant to be controlled, only experienced.
